This page explains how we research, write, and update the guides on All I Need for My Pet, so you know what to expect from them.
Sources
We base health, feeding, and safety guidance on veterinary and animal welfare organizations, published veterinary research, and product manufacturers’ own documentation. Sources are listed at the bottom of each guide. We prefer primary sources over summaries.
Veterinary review
When a veterinary professional reviews a guide, we name them and state their credentials on that page. A guide without a named reviewer has not been reviewed by a veterinarian, and it says so.
Updates
Every guide shows the date it was published. We revisit guides when guidance changes, when readers report a problem, and on a regular schedule, and we update the page when something important changes.
Corrections
If you find a mistake, email allineedfor@gmail.com. We check every report, fix confirmed errors promptly, and note significant changes on the page.
Product recommendations
We recommend products based on how well they suit the job, not on who pays us. If we earn a commission from a link, we say so on that page. We only describe testing we have actually done.
Medical disclaimer
Our guides are general information, not veterinary advice. For any concern about your pet’s health, contact your veterinarian. In an emergency, call your nearest emergency veterinary clinic right away.
