Everything on All I Need for My Pet is general information for dog owners in the United States. Please read this page before you act on anything you find here.
Not veterinary advice
Our guides are not a substitute for a visit with a licensed veterinarian. We cannot examine your dog, and we do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Your veterinarian knows your dog’s history and is the right person to decide on vaccines, parasite prevention, food, medication, and any health concern.
Emergencies
If your dog is in distress, injured, or may have eaten something harmful, call your veterinarian or the nearest emergency animal hospital right away. Do not wait for information from a website. For suspected poisoning, the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center and the Pet Poison Helpline both take calls, and both may charge a consultation fee.
Veterinary review
Our guides have not yet been reviewed by a veterinarian. We build them from published material such as veterinary organization guidance, government pages, manufacturer information, and insurer documents, and we link to those sources on the page.
Insurance, prices, and product information
Pet insurance coverage and prices vary by state, age, breed, and plan. Prices, plan terms, and ingredient lists change often. We show the date we checked them, but you should confirm current details with the company before you buy or enroll. Nothing here is financial or insurance advice.
Accuracy
We work to keep pages accurate, but we cannot promise that every detail is complete or current. If you find an error, tell us through the contact page.
Links to other sites
We link to outside websites so you can read the original source or visit a company. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Some links are affiliate links, which are described on our affiliate and advertising disclosure page.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the choices you make for your dog. By using this site, you accept that All I Need for My Pet is not liable for decisions made from its content. See our terms and conditions for the full terms.
